Welcome to the Myrtle Attendance Center webpage. My name is Mary Jane Marquis and I am the assistant principal. I mainly work with the elementary students and teachers.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated from Myrtle High School and so did my three children. I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Blue Mountain College and my master's degree in educational leadership from Ole Miss. I started teaching at Galena Elementary in Marshall County, then I moved to Union County as special education director and now I am back here at home (MAC).
I am excited about being back at Myrtle, helping to instill in our students good character traits and positive attitudes that will, in the end, make our students be productive community members and make the world a better place.
